This IS Us
We are Fermi Logistics. We know logistics because we've lived logistics. Confused? I'll explain. We started a hauling business way back and in the early 2000's. We bought one truck, that went well so bought a few more. While that was a good entry into entrepreneurship, we wanted a little more.
Enter the OTR truck. One of the co-owners says "Let's buy an Over The Road truck". The rest of look at each other with dazed and confused. "Uh...Aren't all trucks Over The Road" says the least savvy of the bunch. Raucous laughter, followed by a little bit of mockery, ensue before an explanation is given. A presentation is held yadda yadda yadda, we buy an OTR.
Then another. Then another. We keep adding more and more OTR's and soon they out compete the dump trucks. All the while we we're dealing with logistics company after logistics company. Dispatch after dispatch. Warehouse after warehouse. You see where going with this. We're experiencing and we're learning and we're growing.
One day, dreamer co-owner comes along. "Hey, why don't we build our own logistics software to manage our fleet?" Less savvy co-owner, "Ummm, what's a loggisstick?" Here we go again...
We built the software and hone it to our needs, but in a particular stroke of genius, our developers made the software flexible enough to use to manage anyone's fleet. So we thought we'd use to help you with your logistics needs.
